this matrix depicts EVERYTHING in the Ka BAND. anything on this matrix could set off a Ka Alert. do you have anything within range depicted below. you are gonna have to match the colors yourself...

what type/brand of tint did you use? it should be metallic. contacting v1 is pretty much useless... they will not do anything since they believe it doesnt effect all bmw's. i had the same situation as you, and once i tinted the car with llumar metallic, the problem went away.

My Ride: A Car
Yesterday I was in my friend's e92 M3 and we had the V1 on. If you position it kind of high and back, it keeps shooting out laser warnings. We're like wtf?? U have to position low and all the way up to the windshield. It's annoying.

i'll tell you anyway.
The CHMSL (Center high mount stop light) uses a neon-plasma light source. The red lens allows red visible light to pass, and also invisible energy near infrared. The source is powered by a pulsating voltage on a frequency that happens to be similar to the repetition rate of legitimate laser-gun pulse trains. In other words, the CHMSLs have an invisible energy leakage that?s nearly identical to the beam used by traffic laser. If the interference is suppressed, it is likely to damage laser sensitivity.
The new 3 series convertible uses this brake light.
