you know whats funny, out of all my modded cars that ive done this style with ive never rashed any of them because of a stretched look

in fact all the wheels that i rashed up i had the proper sizes for full sidewall protection....and guess what? it didnt save the wheels at all, in any way

so i dunno what your problem is

I don't get why people think stretched tires is a big no no for wheel protection. The typical 245/35/20 F and 275/30/20 R setup will have SOME sidewall protection but if you hit a curb, they will still rash. If you're rolling on 20s, you won't have rim protection, period. Well unless you get crappy offsets and super beefy tires so it looks like a giant Corolla, Sentra, or Civic wheel/tire on your car which your brakes and speedo won't like.

Then again, if you go like those 'hellaflush' guys then I can understand. It's like an inch of bare rim then the tire shows up heh.

Honestly PTL, stretched isn't my taste but I still like the look. Hell, I can;t wait to see what your car will look like when you get the setup complete. I figure no matter what wheels and tires you have you gotta be more careful not to get em scratched.

thats kinda it, just have situational awareness and youll be fine

other than that its kinda out of my hands if a tire blows or a wheel falls off lol

255 on an 11" wheel is more stretch than I've ever seen in person. Curious as to how it will turn out .

As the saying goes, sometimes you have to stretch it to make it fit.

most just dont know anything about it and they parrot what they have been told from someone who got that info from someone else too, its a retarded cycle

then you have the guys that have tried it, didnt know what they were doing, failed and think that its just impossible to do right

doing this stance without spacers and with such a drop is not easy let alone getting it right the first time

final thought:

I gave out my specs for the wheels, not many people will do that for a stance. Even the wheel companies wont release the offsets. Its like this black magic shit that everyone wants to keep secret because its so hard and expensive to get right, they dont want someone else getting it right the first time. That's BS. Everyone should know how to do it, and if they try it they just might like it.

lol i know right

granted ill be running a 255/30/20 on the rear so it will be slightly more than that but not but much

also 452 tires stretch super easy, so the effect isnt as crazy as some other tires that dont like the General UHPs for example

when i had my Invos in the same sizes as my S-03's my S-03's stretched on the rear wheels and looked more low profile whereas the Invos didnt stretch at all and looked very high
