I may have created a thread on this earlier, but... thinking of doing Mud Flaps all around.. OEM... I have Jet Black, so they would blend nicely.

question is, for those who have done it,

do they fit well?
do they scrape the road?
do they look good?
are they functional?

thanks.

Typically, I would say no, but with a black car, you will not see them. I really object to light color cars with black mud flaps.

Although I would never get mudflaps for my own car I saw a set on CWOarmy his car and they looked really nice. Not to big and to obvious to see. As far as I know he had no scraping problems.

I'll be adding them. IMHO It helps protect the car from the sand/gravel they spread when it snows in Colorado.

Yes, this has been done before...

I'll agree that mud flaps are fine -- except on white cars!

There are photos out there somewhere of the flaps on white if you want to see why I feel this way. On black, it's probably a no-brainer.

They don't look so bad on the E39. I was referring to the E60. When I look at the following photo, I can't stop looking at the flaps (no offense realtyman):

But realty's tires are black, too, Rudy.
