This picture may be kind of confusing.....
Those EURO plates on that car are not as big as standard US plates - in fact they are quite a bit smaller. The standard US plate will probably fill the entire opening like on the E39 picture. Thought I would mention this incase some are considering it and not liking all that space around the plate on the US version.

Then where are you going to put the licence plate? Can we get euro size plates in the us.
I'm going to put the USA plate on the Euro spot.... just like I've already done on my 545. I think it looks better than getting the USA finisher, even though there are gaps on the sides of my USA plate.

I will tell you WHY I think it looks better.
It makes the trunklid, and the car.... look wider, and therefore more sporty.
The width of the cutout gives an illusion of a wider car, and that wider stance would make you think higher performance....

I don't see why this would be any different. If you lock your keys in the trunk, what good does a keyhole do you anyway?

I was quoted by BMW S Africa approx US$350 for the primed part & US$750 for the painted part including shipping to South Africa.
The price for the painted part seems rediculous!
Do you know if your supplier ships worldwide?
I Really NEED this part ASAP!
