I also saw this site when I was searching M5 mirrors. Eventually I went for OEM (bought from member 530dA), couse I was told that the replicas dont have all the functions. But it's a nice price and the looks are the same.
I'm still wondering how u did this in 10 mins, because there are so many parts to remove

my mistake, when i fitted mine it was in the body shop so door cards were already off, all i had to do was undo old mirror and fit new ones. taking the door card and bits off is prob more time than doing mirrors,

Maybe I'm missing something here, but why does it matter if it's for right-hand drive versus left-hand drive?

I could see the auto dip feature not working (since it would be on the wrong side) but I don't use that feature anyway....I actually have it turned off.

I just got an email back from the replica dealer and he quoted about $585 USD painted and shipped to the US.

If I remember correctly the angle of the mirror housing are different, for us on the LHD mirror housing on the right will have more inward angle than the other.

You can use the RHD but the mirror adjustment will be out of whack .

This is the pic of my mirror after painting http://forums.e60.net/index.php?act=Attach...st&id=66313 you can see the angle differences between them.

@Wasupdu- So, the rep dealer can get LHD mirrors? Who's the maker of these that you contacted?

AKAlius - I contacted the guy on this website:
http://www.bmstyling.co.uk/E60Exterior.htm

He didn't mention anything about LHD vs RHD though. $585 painted/shipped isn't bad though. But if the angle is different (as blastiwi mentioned) then it's definitely not gonna work.

I need these mirrors in Lhd! Can anyone confirm these Rhd mirrors work for Lhd? I don't care about the functions, I'm just for the looks. thanks
