damn, they confused a cluster with an idrive monitor !

Both instrument cluster and CID look very similar in the back, and, usually, they rest on their front face. Maybe the employee thought this was odometer.
I think I have to wait for another week.
Andy/Nick:
After installing with new cluster, we put old one away. When time come to update software, we put back the old one. Does it cause any issue at all? Have you done that?

I'm afraid the oil gauge works only on steptronic transmissions .

Can you make a clip, in which you start the car up, revving etc. ?
