Going for M5 rear I presume. Made up your mind on what quad system you're going for?

ET17 in the rear for me! wearing General UHP's (275/30/19), looking quite wicked!

I've had my E60 for 5.5yrs - Love it and will probably keep it till the LCI F10. No mods till now. Last month had Bilsteins installed and lowered 30mm. Bought some M166 replicas and am not happy with them so want the genuine item.

Trying to decide on offsets ET28 or ET17. Reading the forum I'm keen on the 17s. My car was built in 02/04 and I see that the the optional M172 wheels as not suitable for my car. So I guess something changed in 03/04. From the BMW Australia site....

""M double spoke 172
Cast alloy wheel, 19-inch size. 8.5J x 19 front, 9.5J x 19 rear. Single wheel, without tyre. Not for 5 Series Sedan models up to 03/04, 5 Series Touring and M5.""

I know there are others with 2004 E60s running ET17s on the rear, but will they definitely fit my car? I'd have to get the wheels in from Germany so a mistake in ordering could be quite costly. I intend to run 275/30x19s

Thanks
