Hello!

I am thinking of buying and installing the M tech Kit on my 04 530 Sport. But I have a few questions, so please help me out here:

1. What is the best place on-line to buy the kit (quad_m guy dont respond to emails)
2. How much should a body shop theoratically ask for this install?
3. Would you know anyone in Chicagoland area for this install?

Thanks!!
I dont see your pm about the M kit sir I only have style #128 wheels question from you
fyi, I have almost 6000 pms in m mailbox and I reply all of them
when I can, sometimes I am very busy or I have things to do in the weekends,

right now the kit costs $1995 painted and shipped for forum members if you wanted to know that.
the 08 PDC kits costs more because of the special PDC sensors.

let me know

Quad_M is about 2200 painted and shipped, 2800 painted and shipped w/ PDC. Garry from Newport BMW is 1395 for the kit, and you will also need 1365 worth of parts to make it fit. Shipping 250-300, for a total of 3010-3060. Garry does not paint the kits. I don't know if Quad_M includes the new parts that are needed to make it fit, so you may have to purchase the parts separately from Garry.

Tony, quick question to help clarify for the members. Do your 2008 M-Tech Body Kits come with the parts that are needed (like the new airflow ports for the braking system and extra shock absorber bumper inserts to get the bumper to fit correctly and eliminate that gap members have been getting from the 08 M-Tech Kits?)

Members, if Quad_M does not supply the extra parts needed for 2008 M-Tech Body Kit, Garry at Newport BMW will be the other option to get what you need.

Tony:

I'm ready to order my Full Mtec Kit for my 2008 535i Alpine White (no PDP). I see your quote is $1995 shipped. What do you need from me and what is the expected delivery date if I order today. Zip is 60056.

Thanks!

Huh? I got quoted $2200 painted and shipped here to TX and $2800 painted and shipped with PDC. You got a lower quote for painted and shipped to IL?

Hmm....

it might be because of the PDC. i heard that you need different sensor for the 08, and it cost way more than previous years.

No, JamDown was quoted $1995 for his 2008 535i with NO PDC. My quote from Quad_M for my 2008 535i with NO PDC was $2200...$205 increase?

It's not like he sold it to you $205 in excess. It's just a quote. PM quad_m again referencing this thread and see what he says.
