Honestly, I'm not too sure about your assessment. I'm doing a lot of research right now and it looks like the best mod is to get the Centric rotots and Hawk pads. Although the stoptech pads are looking really good too. either way, you are reducing the unsprung weight and gaining braking performance, albeit at the cost of worse wear and tear on the pads and rotors. Also, you can't turn drilled and slotted rotors, so that may be a bummer to some. But overall - especially at the pricepoint I'm being quoted (Anthony@BimmerBrakes FTW btw ) - it is hard to argue with this setup.
In terms of fitment only.
It's rather difficult to overheat a OE brake nowadays except you're doing excessive late braking for a continuous spirited driving?

Is it true that no modification is needed to use M5 brake kits on a regular E60?

Yes, I think 19's are required with the M5 or other BBKs unless you are running massive (20 mm) spacers

Just plug and play, but your wheel at least 19" or above.

Thanks Ricky san,

I have checked BBS website, it looks to me M5 is sharing the same offset per my car, not sure if the offset of the wheels is another considertation.
