Default Limted slip differential installation in Maryland?

I'm thinking about getting a Quaife LSD but I'm wondering if anyone know a reputable shop in Maryland that has done this many times. I really want this professionally done. Does anyone have LSD in their E60 (non-M)?

I had a Quaife LSD installed in my ex-car, E60 530d.

The local dealer here did the install for me and it was quite simple. They were able to remove the bearings from the original rear differential and put them to the new Quaife unit. No shimming was necessary. It was a plug and play.

How much does it cost usually?

The install was something near 350 €. Don't remember exactly.

This is an old thread but....

When you buy a Quaife for the 530d do they send a new center and you bolt on your crown wheel or did you have to send in your diff for them to do the work?

I still haven't got mine anywhere else... but I'm looking into M-factory LSD right now. They have pretty good reviews.

I'd be all over an MFactory diff - if they had one for a 530d that is.

Stephen from MFactory said they plan to do one, but no ETA as yet.
