I am afraid it could be just a specimen for the Auto Show like in the case with window opening switches which are still not available. But anyway I' ll give it a try with Munich.

INDIVIDUAL part as dealer's info is very poor and difficult to get.

Yeah, that's a possibility. But in that case it WILL come somewhen, at least for Individual...

In that case BMW's explanation with power feed for the controller wud be not valid. Cud you get more info on it or give a link to the Belgian forum where it was discussed?

I can but there is a BMW -Lover topic 700 pages it was omewheres in the 400 i think but they diden't said there much of it.
