Hi !

We have a 530dA and we love it. But it was build 2 weeks before the par. filter was included on the E60 diesel

So I drive around with the usual diesel pipes.. :'(

Is it possible to change those to the new ones ?
I know I can't get the par. filter afterwards.
But I would really like to have the exhaust system, like the new 535d

See the picture below; that's the look today..

E60 sim
I've been thinking the same thing - those downturned pipes, lets face it , look shocking !
I think there must be a specialist who could weld a couple of suitable straight pipes on the back. Lets hoep someone here comes up with an idea?

I am sure you can replace your exhaust, welding would not give the best result.

I allready changed the last end of the exhaust, without the partikel filter. I had it done with my BMW dealer. It only took an hour to change it. To let it fit, they had to weld. The price for this was ?450.
Because of the scrud, i have to clean the chrome pipes more often. After 500km, they are black. With the rear end of my car, i have no scrud problems.
Result: It looks nicer, but you have to clean it a few times more.

Hi, new to this forum.

I have a 04 530d, I have replaced the rear box with a Remus Backbox with twin 78mm chrome pipes, it looks great and has nice note to it. Cost ?330 fitted.
