Unfortunately a bit bulky to bring home on the train, so they will have to sit here for a few days 
After comparing some trace files between my car and another M5 with LMII I think my rear lights error seem to be down to these two lines, will hopefully get enough time to check tonight.

Just to keep this updated, I changed multiple options last night with one coding session and the rear light error has now been removed, everything I changed was around the Back Light 2.
I can post the exact changes if anyone wants as I have a before / after but it seemed to fix it.
