Anyone know which Festoon bulbs to get? There are 2 39mm bulbs. One has 3 lights and the other has 9 lights.

I got the 39mm, 9 LEDs. It was a bit too long, 37mm will be prefect. The shipping is very fast and it takes a couple days to get the LEDs.

I don't see 37mm on their site. You sure it's 37mm?

You are right, they don't stock 37mm, unfortunately. 39mm works fine but you have to jam it into the bulb socket. That's most of the owners do in this forum.

Thanks, but definitely 9 LED's, right? That's what everyone went with?

I tried to intall my super white leds this morning but then I was concerned with heat being generated by the resitor. It might not be too hot to melt the plastics around the resistor but I might try to wait 'till summer and see if the heat generated will not be too hot for the lamp holder. I ended up using my led lights under the dashboard interior lights. At least I am not going to use the resistors and no check control malfunction will show up. After a while of installing and uninstalling my leds and with lights on I actually drained my battery and got the warning "battery low". It's good I was still able to crank the engine and charged it back. I hope I didn't mess my battery. I will check back again with the others who installed the license plate led lights if any problems came up.

Hmmm...this is good to know. I just bought the resistors last night and should be getting the LED's today. The LED's you are using for your dash...what are they exactly? And how do they look in the rear? Does it give off a good amount of light? Thanks for the heads up. I'll keep the lights off when I do the install.

As for the heat that the resistors give off, do I have to worry about a possible fire starting? The last thing I need is to have my trunk on fire one night in my garage, setting my new house ablaze. That would suck! Hahaha!

It actually looked good when I installed the led lights. It pretty much same look like the lexus IS250/350's. But then I tried keeping the led lights on for a while and sure enough the resistors were kinda hot but not that hot that plastics will melt. It was chilly this morning when I was installing but during summer time here in Texas, it really gets hot even at night. So I just imagine a resistor getting hot and weather is hot too.

Instead of using the led light at my license plate, I used them instead below the dashboard (footwell). They are same size bulbs.
