i have been thinking about getting LED side light bulbs for the angel and adding a resistor in parrelel to stop the dash thinking i have bulbs out.

any thoughts or past people doing it?

Side light? I guess you are talking about replacing the OEM angel eye with LEDs. If you have non Xenon, that means you have halogen head lights. You will need 1 new bulb/LED for each ring, 4 in total. Also, you will need a resistor for each one. GL
