I have heard about the strobing, that sh*t is crazy. Wonder is BMW going to figure out some software upgrade to eliminate that.

The LED rods do not get brighter when the brakes are applied. I've connected the LED rods back to the Taillights because people said that on the LCI cars the LEDs did not go brighter. However the LED rods are brighter on my new cables because of the circuit connected to it to make it brighter. Thus it stays a constant brightness.

The strobing seems to be related to the age of the car and the LCM installed. If you have a car that's made after 2006 then you don't get the strobing because its got the newer LCM. My car doesn't strobe and that's the reason I couldn't figure out how to get rid of it. Also with CIP 25 onwards you don't need a resistor (or bulb) connected to the turn light as well. I'm planning to put a switch or jumper on the kits so that you can disable the resistor in case you car doesn't need it, not having the resistor connected reduces a lot of heat so its best not to use it if you don't need it.

Cwest, just seen the video and that strobing seems to also occurs on the LED rods and also around the number plate area. Do you have LEDs for your plate too?
