The strobing seems to be related to the age of the car and the LCM installed...
I use to have it always in "auto" position ...so, not that big problem.

i've actually gone to the dealer to rectify the strobing effects the past week, but they replied that they suspect that i had to change my lcm to a newer version in order to install the upcoming retrofit kit of the new tail lights (which i have already done by 'modding' and not retrofitting via bmw)...
And bruce, fyi i've tried my kit on my friends car which is an my2007 (not lci, it's not out yet here in malaysia), and unfortunately it's still giving this strobing effect, but no resistor needed on the fast blinking of the turn signals...his is also a similar spec compared to mine...so, i don't think that the age of the car is a factor...

Hey Bruce, How's it going? were you able to get the parts?
I cant wait to get your cable Bruce.
Also, on a side note, I was apart of the initial group buy for the taillights and I heard from a number of people that the 4 LED's on the side of the tail (near the turn signal) is yellow. Mine is red, is that supposed to be correct? or is that with the programming? or is it only Euro cars have it yellow (like the eyebrows) and US has it Red?

I went to BMW yesterday and only managed to get 2 cables! But shouldn't be too long before I get some more in. The 4 LEDs on the side of Turn lights are RED in all versions. When people talk about the Red v/s Yellow lights its the actual Turn Light itself that they refer to.

Wow they look great. Nice Job Bruce
Anyone know how much a new LCM would cost?

I assume for Adaptive Xenon Headlights it will be more expensive

#2 Pic with Brakes applied "NEW" (LEFT) "OLD"(RIGHT)
![Unsure](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/unsure.gif)
In this case the outer part is used for brakes on the left (new).

Also with CIP 25 onwards you don't need a resistor (or bulb) connected to the turn light as well. I'm planning to put a switch or jumper on the kits so that you can disable the resistor in case you car doesn't need it, not having the resistor connected reduces a lot of heat so its best not to use it if you don't need it.
( I think I have v25.0 - nicke60gre has 25.01 and told me he has no fast blinking...)
