I would go 6000k HID's..
Yea, that kit is about that much, but wouldnt you wanted to save a little more money and but a cheaper kit, in case it doesn't work well, then you would have only lost a little bit.
I think it'll work. if I had the LCI, I would have went budget and spent like 100 something or 200 at most for the HID kit.
But definitely keep us updated. It would be hot if the intensity of the angel eyes would look like Fire, but white fire!

For LCI owners, there's NON good quality angel eye upgrade as of yet. This is why i'm seeking other solutions that would work such as the HID kit upgrade. I will post results as soon as I install them within the next few days. Hang on tight boys n girls...

Why so? Is it a different size of bulb than the non-LCI? Why do you have to upgrade the HID kit when you only want upgrade the angel eye? Shouldn't they be different bulbs and maybe even separate circuit? Just some naive questions ![Smile](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/smile.gif)

angel eyes bulbs are separate from the headlight bulbs. i would upgrade the angel eye h8 bulbs to HID hoping to achieve the brightest white light output possible since any HID kit will output light brighter than our stock headlights.
hope this helps.

I NEED YOUR HELP GUYS...
I installed the McCulloch H8 6k HID kit last night and had problems with the battery tap. The HID kit won't light up due to lack of power voltage coming from the car. The car only outputs 3Volts while the HID kit requires 12volts. Now my question is, How will I be able to power up the HID kit if the car only outputs 3 volts? I know a few of you guys have succeeded with HID kits and would like your advise. I am a NOOB on these kind of things so i'm sorry for the dumb question.
By the way, the angel eyes lit for like 5 seconds and let me tell ya... DAYUM!!!
I was speechless and then it started flickering and turned off. I noticed that the relay was making a ticking noise and the warning light came on.
Now i have everything back to stock until i figure this out. Looks like this is the answer to LCI owners! We might have a break through boys...

Not the answer yet. I was looking forward to just changing a bulb, not installing a whole HID kit. I really hope this works for you but Im still hoping for an easier and more cost effective solution.
