Hi all,

I know there have been quite a few posts along these lines before, but there is just too much info for me to take in by trawling through all of the previous posts talking about the different versions and upgraded versions of the various angel eye upgrades available, and many posts are fairly old and probably out of date now anyway.

So - I have my new LCI E60 on order, due for delivery in about 6 weeks time. I want to order some replacement angel eyes and have these ready to fit on delivery so want to order them fairly soon. Could anybody please let me know which are the best replacements available out of those on the market (either from people on these boards or elsewhere), and the costs/website link/discount codes etc?

I know it may be subjective but I just want to make sure I order something that is going to serve me well, which is easy to fit and won't give any i-drive errors or other car problems (I have read about radio interference as one example).

I don't mind receiving PM's, but would prefer to have replies in this thread for other users to see.

Thanks!

I think the stock AEs are the best looking headlights out there, save your money. The look you are getting is what most are trying to achieve.

Cheers

You mean the standard dim orangey coloured lights? You think they look better than the upgraded xenon-white ones which are much brighter?? I don't Anyway, please don't get me wrong - no offence intended - but I want to change them for bright white ones and would like answers based on that question please rather than opinions on whether the mod is worth doing or not

The LCI in North America has the new lights (Significantly brighter and whiter than non LCI ). I have an 07 and want to upgrade to the stock LCI look.

Cheers

Thanks for the pic. They still look very orange compared to the aftermarket ones. Does anybody have comparison pics of pre/post LCI and an LCI with/without aftermarket?

LCI is done with a standard H8 bulb, we're in development now for a high output white alternative, we have some units coming next week for testing.
