I know that you can't official get it in the US but the ebay guy BMRovers - seems to have them listed.
I've contacted a few members on here to see if they can get me a number for the Germany parts line to see if I can order it that way.

It works out to be around $3000 dollars which is loads considering it just a high quality camera - its on my 'to do' list.
Once the dealers get back to me about the installation, I'll ask them about nightvision retrofit.
