The TailLights were replaced with LED aftermarket pieces. They were equipped with resister modules already wired in so I replaced the standard incandescent bulb (a P21) with a 39 LED RED 1156 lamp and it works perfectly - NO BULB ERROR MESSAGES! I was advised that a RED LED behind a red lens performs better than a "white" bulb. I'm very satisfied with how it looks.

RIZBEL used a 63 LED on his ... because he was told size is what counts.

Next I will try an LED Replacement for the amber turn signal bulb and see if that functions correctly without additional resisters being added. That won't get on my "to-do" list until December.

That's true. I made a mistake of ordering a pair of whites but switched to red LEDs. They're noticeably brighter.
