Suggestion: call to the parts department of your dealer, and ask directly for the part number. If he says "it's not available", ask him to rearch in the BMW system, neither in the dealer system nor the UK system.
I asked my SA and the answer was the typical bla bla, not available yet, engineers are testing. Went to the parts window and... voil?! the part number was there, waiting to be ordered...

OK, I am booked in to have my iPod Integration Kit fitted on Wednesday 13th September.
Cost is ?300 inc vat fitted.
From memory it's around ?145 for the kit, ?90 Labour + Vat.
Will be glad to get rid of all the bloody cd cases in every possible place in the car, left by my good wife.

What do you lose? (for example -do you lose 6cd capability?
