My Ride: Current - 330 Sport Topaz Blue, Grey Leather, HK HIFI...lost interest!! Waiting for - 535d Sport, Silver Grey, Foldy Mirrors, 172 19",Logic7,Pro Radio,Through load,Heated Front Seats,High Gloss shadowline,Black Maple,Headlight wash,Sun Protection Glass.

In principal its the same as an Ipod in conection terms...however what I prefer with this set up is the ease of use via the mutch bigger touch screen, and the easy to read info for playlists from the driving position. Sound quality is spot on also via L7.

I guess my response was more to illustrate an alternative to what people call Ipods by default. You just have to look at the forum to see how the Aux In port get stuck with the Ipod handle so often. Its as if people think that Ipod is the only choice of player.....

Where did you get the iPAQ cradle from? I've been looking for something similar and could only find the usual universal types.

Depends on your Ipaq model, the 4150 which i have is obsolete now. However this is a Tom Tom cradle,and they are available for newer Ipaq's still.

you have to wait for ice-link (dension.com) but you have to wait at least till next year.
I'm not sure if this solution really fits the requirements (browsing trough search criteria like artist, gerne, album, ... or create playlists on the fly

I really meant the mount that's behind your iPaq. I've got a TomTom bracket for it but was intersted in the other bit. I should have been clearer sorry.
