As with anything, it all depends on what you want to spend. If you want the "best" -- i.e., true high fidelity -- I highly recommend RnB Audio's Sky Blue Mini. Depending on the length you order, it will run you about $40. One step down from that (in the "better" category) would be a monstor mini cable. That may not be too much less expensive, but it will not provide the same audio quality as the RnB product. In any case, what you want is a male-to-male mini audio cable (commonly referred to as a mini patch cord).

Where did you install the aux adaptor and where will you put the Ipod? If you put the adaptor in the glove box and want easy access to the ipod by putting it in the center well, you will need a rather long patch cord and probably want a professional install to get the cable out of sight. I put my aux adaptor right in the center well so that the cord length is minimized and everything is out of sight.

One last, but important, detail. Whatever patch cord you get, I recommend that you look for one with an angled connector. I found that this makes it easier to fit the ipod in the center well -- if that is where you are putting it -- rather than a straight connector that sticks further up when plugged into the ipod and the aux adaptor.

Here's how I found the RnB Audio Cable:

Good Luck

You need a mini stereo (1/8") cable--be sure to get a shielded cable. I use a Monster cable--see this post for my hardwire iPod install:
