Anyone know where I can get a temporary Ipod adapter for my car? Like a simple fm transmitter that can work through the stereo? I'm going on a short trip this weekend, and I'd like to listen to my Ipod so I need a short solution to hold me over until I get a Denisson and ACM.

Is the itrip a good substitute? Any other FM transmitters out there that can drown out other radio frequencies when they come in contact?

I just tried out an iTrip and it was truly awful. I am taking it back tonight. I'm looking to just pop for the OEM iPod integration unit. Don't really want to spend that much money, but I figure in the long run it is money well spent.

Yeah. No good for me. It worked very well when I initially tried it while in my garage. Going to and from work it was really bad. It would be good for a minute or two and then be nothing but static. I work in an urban environment and commute from the suburbs, but if you're in a more rural area away from a big city, I am guessing it may work better than it did for me.

I got one of those FM transmitter jobs the other night. Sucked big time and I just returned it. I am using the Aux input right now. It's much better but i have wires all over the place and it's hard to search for songs, albums etc. I think I'll save up for the iPod OEM kit. I just can't bring myself to spend 500 bucks for it
