I do not have a usb port anywhere in the car, its a 2007 so it should be lci, since it has the new electronic shifter, my Bluetooth adapter is pretty much the same as the one in the first post, with a plug that goes behind the CCC and 2 wires for power

It's definitely NOT LCI if it's a 2007. I was in the same boat because I also own a 2007. My solution was to go with the Sure board mentioned in this thread.

it is an lci, but i have EU model so maybe the difference lies there?

Not sure if that made a difference, but the USB port was added as an LCI enhancement in 2008 models.

ok then there probably is a difference, since i know for sure that i have an LCI
do you know if it is possible to craft an USB port ( for power only) from the phone prep cables in the center console?
