installed m5 mirrors but they won't work, I'm desperate

All cars produced after 09/2005 have the same mirror connections, LCI or not.
I'm sorry, but I can't exactly tell you what to do, as I don't know how your M5 mirrors are connected. I would also advise you to take the time to look in to this and how the different mirrors are wired and connected.

There are 2 different connections for mirrors efter 2007. Some run on lin-bus some dont. So if your old mirrors are "hard wired" you will need to wire the new ones to the Lin-bus signal. All mirrors with auto fold, dimming and puddle lights run on lin-bus. Standard mirrors without theise dont.
