Installed a custom quad "magnaflow" exhaust

There anyway you could try and look or tell my what type of muffler its called, center muffler? Im getting my m5 bumper put on WEDS, and I ordered the tips you suggested from the Chev on ebay and I need a muffler to order so its ready the day I get my car back. I'm not sure if I should go with the muffler that has 2 in and 2 out like yours, or just one in and two out like phi's. Are there any real differences? back pressure?

I have the same magnaflow setup, except when I had ordered the exhaust I got 1 inlet 2 outlet. So I actually have to have a Y pipe go into the 1 inlet, and then the 2 outlet goes back to the tips. Do you think I lost alot of power in comparison to having 2 in 2 out?

As far as loss of power, I dont think that wAs a problem but undo get back pressure problems. Im about to get the inserts to alleviate that issue.
And as far as the placement on tips. I tried to stuff them in as much as I could without touching the bumper. So maybe 1/2 to 1" is good.

Well, if I drive in regular (not sport) it feels like it stutters at 1000-2000 rpm. But after that, it cleans up. It feels like it has to be in high rpm to ride clean, unless it's in sport mode. And another member had the same problem and he pu these inserts in the pipes and it stopped the problem and rode smoother. They sell them on jegs.com.
As far as sound, I love it. Not too aggressive but louder and deeper than a stock 5.

I know this is old, but I was watching a show on a Racing Team on discovery and they went over the back pressure issue in quite detail. The solution to back pressure loss, when you install high flow exhaust, is to go SMALLER DIAMETER exhaust pipes. Try it

Smaller diameter pipes, I always thought it was good to get 2.5inch-3inch pipes?
