Also the K&N filter does come oiled. I know because i have one. After you use the filter for a certain amount of miles you are going to have to re-oil it. K&N sells the filter restore kit. A lot of people when they re-oil them use to much oil and it f's up the MAF sensor. Just dont oil the shit out of it and you will be ok.

I know Brett, I went the K&N route myself, with the RPI scoop - I like it, just couldn't justify the extra $50 for possibly imaginary 1-2HP. So +1000

Dunno, got mine at Pepboys - $56 not bad, especially for a well oiled filter
