...but I've never seen an add-on lip for an LCI base exterior until now and I'm a bit intrigued. Has anyone used this or have any thoughts on it?

Seems like a pretty simple mod for a little money until I can pony up the funds for a full kit...coilovers are next on the list for my 08 535xi, but thought this may at least help and give a bit more of an aggressive appearance.

have not seen that on an e60 before, wonder how how the fittement is....for the price though, it's not a bad gamble as it looks pretty good...that lip paired with some m tech side skirts might look good..you could always swap out for the mtech bumper later if you don't like that add-on splitter

My thoughts exactly....there's also a CF one for $245, but my car is Black Sapphire, so I may just get this one and paint it gloss black myself...not like it's a body panel, and I don't think the eye will catch it that easily as far as contrast.

you can always just consider doing a vinyl wrap rather than painting as well...splitters get scratched often, why spend extra money on paint...lol...

Too bad there are no pictures of the lip mounted on a actual car, but it looks good to me! I'm still having trouble finding a workshop that can mount full mtech with my electrocal tow... I'm tempted to go for this as well though!

That lip actually looks really cean. It looks like a Hamann lip for the mtech bumpers. Do it! Wrap it 3M Di-Noc CF and it should look sick.
