Hello,

I got the replica M6 rims and I was advised I need to install hub rings. I have no real vibration issues but do feel it over cracks and bumps in the road. Will 72.6mm TO 74.1mm HUB CENTRIC RINGS provide a better ride?

Let me know

thanks

If your replicas have a 74.1mm centre bore (so they will fit the E39) you must fit 74.1 - 72.6 spigot rings in order to centralise the rims on the hubs.Cheap ones are plastic and cannot be recommended, get the better quality aluminium ones.
Advice for others thinking of buying replicas - choose a make with a 72.6mm centre bore. One example is WSP Italy who use the flow forming technique in manufacture.

i tried both and plastic one had less vibration than the aluminum one.. also aluminum can be damaged or bent easily...

Another reason to buy rims with the correct centre bore in the first place!
