I really didn't want to mess with any of the electronics in the car, that's why I didn't bother.
imo no. taking off the calipers means bleeding the brake system. i didnt want to deal with all that bs. a quick sand and a quick clean did the trick for me. Leaving the calipers on is a lot easier!

Looks nice. Good prep work. I did the same thing a week or so ago. I went with low gloss, though, to go along with the matte black theme I've been putting together the past couple of months.

I would buy spray paint made for plastic. The caliper paint will probably work but it's made for metal so I don't know how well it would work with plastic...
