started wrapping!
here is my progress so far.
ive got my dash ripped apart, trying to get that last wood trim piece off below the clmiate controls..
i started to take the plugs out of the back and the car turned on without a key and wouldnt turn off. i think ill disconnect the battery tomorrow when i finish it up. Its way to cold and dark to try and pull the interior apart any more.

Looking good so far. 
I just left it brushed steel. Wish it was a tad darker. Probably do brushed black metallic next or if I can find brushed graphite.
Ahh, yes. I saw these pictures via google today and am in love with your interior 
I saw you were looking to buy the brushed graphite, are you keeping the brushed steel look?
I also have to ask if you ever look at the trim and wish it was a shade darker?
Have any pics I could check out? i haven't see a whole lot of this in the e60's interior as you would in the e46 crowd..

I have found ten square feet will be plenty for the trim in an e60. i searched all over the place and could not find this figure. Which was about $44 with a felt tip squeege as well hahaha
anywho, some quick pics compliments of the iphone. until i can get some good pics and upload them.
Just have to find some time to wrap the doors next!

I did my interior with the 3M Di-Noc carbon, lasted 3-4 months then I ripped it all off as the heat from the vents started making edges come up and certain parts started to blister.... I'd be interested to hear if yours does this?
Wasn't sure if i'd cut the folded lip too short or whether its just a charachteristic of the wrap material

thank guys! i will get closer pics tomorrow.
i am still amazed at how it looks and the end result.
as far as the edges coming up, i sealed all the edges with laquer thinner. one of those paint sticks (its just laquer in a bottle with a brush.. lol) from bmw.. only becasue i had one of them and have no use for it haha.
a family member works in the used car business and if it bmw related they take it home for me when they pick up cars before they get cleaned and put out for sale!
the other thing i have one my side was after i wrapped it, i let it all "cure" and sit in the warm house for a day and then sealed the edges.
IMO if you get the air bubbles out, and pull the edges over the trim with Heat and seal it i don't foresee is being a problem. Id think using superglue or clear nail polish would be perfect to seal it all up.

dont mind the messy floor mats, its winter in full effect here i love driving this car to much to put it away all winter. 
today or tomorrows project is to rip the door cards apart and finish the handles up.
hopefully with the addition of these pic the next person searching for brushed steel 3m wrap will stumble upon these pics!

Have you had the door cards off before? they are a bit of a PITA, I had all 4 of mine off at least 3 times each doing separate jobs and only realised how to refit properly on the final attempt
PS looks loads better with that cubby hole above the seat heat switches, do you only get that if you don't have full nav?
