Help me decide between Di-noc/CF and Brushed Alum. for interior..
Hello everyone,
Im thinking its time to take on a trim wrapping project and see if i like the look. However i cannot decide between the brushed aluminum/or steel or using a Di noc Carbon fiber vinyl.
I'd like to wrap the center console, and the long trim pieces across the dash and wrap in between the two with a matte black wrap to match the black color around the climate controls. Mostly for the fact only half of the trim work (vertical) is the wood grain on the bottom around the inset cubby. So, if i make those match with a matte black vinyl, here are my possibilities.
1) Wrap the dash pieces (door handles included) in a brushed aluminum or steel. Using 3M material. Also, wrap the center console in Di noc black carbon fiber.. OR maybe a lighter color like charcoal would be better. So mixed, Brushed trim, Di noc Center console.
2) Dash and center console both in brushed aluminum.
-I'd like to keep the interior a "mature sporty look," not sure something all CF would achieve perhaps.
3) Wrap the dash and center console in a lighter Di noc material. More towards the lighter gray color spectrum.
-I'm thinking the dark Di noc would give the interior absolutely no contrast and be undefined and boring.
Here is a few shot of my interior as is..
Thoughts? Persuasive pictures?
Thanks for taking the time to read and leave an opinion!

Found some pics and info on it. Brushed black aluminum looks very nice. not enough contrast for me however.. check out these pics on found on e90 forums. im really liking the look of the brushed steel..

Ahh, yes. I saw these pictures via google today and am in love with your interior
I saw you were looking to buy the brushed graphite, are you keeping the brushed steel look?
I also have to ask if you ever look at the trim and wish it was a shade darker?
Have any pics I could check out? i haven't see a whole lot of this in the e60's interior as you would in the e46 crowd..

I see some votes for the lighter color Di Noc Cf, are there any pics of this on an e60? i have yet to see silver CF or lighter gray.

Ive decided to go the brushed steel route on the entire trim...
can anyone tell me how much material i need?
Im going to start with a 10 square foot roll... i found it for a good price from AVS and will post some pictured as i make progress.
