I have 2005 545i black sapphire and I just got my M-tech kit put on. I'm really glad I did it because the car looks totally different!! I don't think wheels would have had the same impact on the car as my kit did. Plus, you can always find a better deal on some wheels later. Look at the kit as a way to get you by while you search for some good wheels.

depends on what wheels....
a year and a half ago i was also deciding wether to get rims or kit first, then i found a crazy deal on iforged rims that i couldn't pass!!! so i decided to get the rims and lowered the car, few months after that there was a group buy for M-kit offered by Quad_m, that was also a killer deal so i had to order it. i've been pretty lucky finding good deals on parts on this forum

now im thinking going the wheels. i think i'm going to go with the iForged Sprints as well but hyper gunmetal.

for any car itis the rim 1st then body kit 2nd.
If you get the baby 1st and it will look naff if you have stock wheels on and it will look odd too.
but the car will look OK with just rim changed.
