Get the kit. As others have mentioned, the style 124 are beautiful rims already. With the kit, it will dramatically change the look of your car. Plus, it'll give you a little more time to think about which wheels you want to get.

hahah i get asked that question ALL the time. i has 11 and thinking of a screen name and it just popped into my head. 15 years later, well it just kinda stuck. it definitely helps people remember who i am. when i go to meets and tell people i'm myfootsmells, they're always like "oh i know that name." =)

Just my opinion, but on the east coast......I would bet that only 10% of people would even notice that you got the kit......and that may be even less if it is a black car (since it shows less of the lines). I think I would have to say the bang for your buck would have to be wheels. Again, that is only my advice if you are only buying one of the two items. If you are just figuring out the timing then it really doesn't matter, but people have said over and over that Quad M takes a loooooonnnngg time to deliver the Mtech kids.

i currently have the style 124 rims on my jet black 545i. should i go aero kit or new rims?
Everyone knows you ALWAYS start with Rims before the kit! There was another member on here recently had and M-Tech kit with 17"ers and boy was that a discrace, it look like someone stole his wheels and he was riding on donuts, hehe. No Offense to that member of course!

rims, Rims, RIMS!

Nick

You have the most convincing argument. I'm going to go w/ the kit first.

Michael
I agree with Nick. The kit first. Then look for some slightly used wheels. us Greeks think alike.

given the choice kit, suspension upgrade then wheels.
E60 guys will notice the kit, everyone else will notice the wheels.
it depends where you live also. in the northeast, 20's if you get them, need to come off in the winter but that kit and suspension will stay!
