i say order the kit... by the time it arrives you will have made a choice on the wheels (and saved up some money for them) and you can put everything on at the same time. i dont know about you but i feel getting the kit is much easier than deciding on wheels. with the kit there is only one or two options (mtech rear or M5 rear), with wheels there's thousands of styles, colors and sizes....
but it works just like how wees75 said, it wont end
on a side note: you can always get the wheels first and they will look great with your stock 5er but when you put on the body kit your taste might change because the wheels you chose are not as aggressive as you would have liked. just a thought.

You have the most convincing argument. I'm going to go w/ the kit first.

Get the kit first, as it is almost impossible to find a used one in "like new" condition painted in your preffered color ...and a little later you can find some "like new" used wheels, I've seen lots sold in here, maybe with tires, or from ebay etc, at a bargain price

hahah i get asked that question ALL the time. i has 11 and thinking of a screen name and it just popped into my head. 15 years later, well it just kinda stuck. it definitely helps people remember who i am. when i go to meets and tell people i'm myfootsmells, they're always like "oh i know that name." =)

The Aero kit... then you can take your time and get new rims ..... Of course then every few months you can change your rims because no matter what rims you get there will always be a better set you discover.

to take into consideration that kit purchase, deliver and installation is longer process then rims, in case your patience is not made of steel. I would go with the wheels first!
