HELP ACS lip question
Need help. I am considering getting the ACS lip. Body shop tells me that the whole bumper has to come off, install lip and spray the whole thing. ACS instructions just say to spray the lip and glue on. Has anyone done the install themselves or know what the body shop did???

soma, I'm very confused. What do you mean by "lip" Do you mean the trunk spoiler or the front bumper? I don't see why you have to remove a bumper to add a trunk lip.....
You can just spray paint the lip and glue/bolt it onto the bumper... no need to take the bumper off. I think ACS recommends the whole bumper be resprayed if the car is older than x months so the colour matches perfectly, but there really shouldn't be much difference.

Yes alpineweiss is right.. you don't have to take the whole bumper off.. the front ACS LIP is just an ADD ON..

Yep, correct.
ACS advised me that an E60 usually garaged and less than 8 months old only has the lip spayed and installed.
