Yes, but if for EUR 100 (I got the steering from eBay) I can have it warm why losing time with gloves?
Plus I love lights and on the switch there is a little red led

ok you'll also need the new steering wheel control module. part#: Heater yes, SMG no = 61316953322; heater yes, SMG yes = 61316953321. It's about 150 i think.
Does your coilspring have 2 pins on the right and 6 pins on the left? if not, then you will need a new coilspring as well part#: 61319129499 for around 130.
Although, i think once you have all the right parts, you won't need any coding to make it work.

on the steering wheel control module side: 1,2,3,4,5,6 -> is for multifunction buttons etc.
5,3-> is for the heated steering wheel. KL30 is the 12V and KL31 is the temperature sensor.

Pics attached in the previous reply.
Yes, it looks like I need that module, about EUR 130.

no no no about 130US not EUR!
you need to check your coil spring to make sure you have the connectors for the heater. See in the pic. one side has 6 pins, the other has 2. The one that has 2 is for the heater.

if you don't mind waiting for the international shipping i can get the steering wheel control module for you even cheaper
You don't need to open the coilspring actually. that's just a pic i had when i did my push button paddleshift retrofit where i had to mod the coilspring.
Here's a pic of the coilspring as you would see it when it's in the car. in the red circle, there are the 2 pins. check your coil spring if you have that. if yes then you should be ok. if not then you need a different coil spring too, which i can of course get you cheaper as well

Ok, thanks!
But if the only one existing is that #-499, I should have the correct number of pins.
I will check asap.
