I'm absolutely sure you will love the sound of it. It's easily louder than my RDSport/AFE CAI setup. Best of all it's cheap. Since you are in LA, I would suggest you go to AAA exhaust. Tell them to remove the mufflers and set up the quads. It'll be less than $1K.
What about the issue of backpressure and performance compared to M5 E Race?

Prior to my engine mods, torquey5 beat me pretty good up top. He walked me harder than any of the other 550is (brian1225 and hollywood) I've ran. I've beaten ICEMAN 316's 550i from a roll and still am. He's only using one half of the Eisenmann M5 Race exhaust. It's time for a rematch with torquey5. I wanna see if I'm at least even with him.

He dropped in a K&N filter besides his straight pipes.

Thanks Joe...I'll call AAA muffler. When you say 'set up the quads' what do you mean by this? I plan on just running a dual exhaust for now, instead of quads so would this still be $1K for just removing the mufflers to straight pipes? I called Phil@AAA a while back to just remove the resonators for straight pipes, he quoted me roughly $100.

Jump on the band wagon and get the quad setup b/c you know that once you go to a Meet and see all the e60s with quads you'll want it too. If you're still wanting just the dual, it'll be probably around $500 or less.

...SO TRUE. I'm already looking into the quads, but for now since I bought the RDSport dual from another member on these boards, that'll have to do for now.

Sell the RDsport dual and delete the two stock mufflers. Straight pipes from the box resonator back.

Joe, I need some clarification but is it pointless to have the RDSport dual exhaust since the mufflers on that would have to be removed anyway to straight pipes is what you're saying? So in other words, just get the stock mufflers removed to straight pipes and what about the stock tips? Is this what Torquey5 has done?

It is pointless for you to have the RDSport dual exhaust. It's a muffler with tips. If you choose to go with straight pipes from the box resonator back, you can select custom tips from AAA exhaust. I guarantee you will love the sound of the straight pipes over the RDSport exhaust. I advise you to go to AAA and talk with them in person.
