so what happens if u have the sport package? How much of a drop will u get from H&Rs then? I want to drop my car exactly one inch.

those particular springs are or have been fitted wrong, get H&R fitted.
mine dropped immediately after fitting, you don't wait for the drop, that's nonsense.
a pic would help

i just got done installing my eibach prokit on my 545 sport. i've put on about 200 miles so far, but i noticed the lowered stance after only a couple of days driving; i'd say 50 miles. i'll have to measure just to be sure. one small problem though, my rear driver side seems to not have lowered at all. i'll give it a few more days and see what happens...

isnt the prokit a less of a drop? I know H&R drops a lot and a few of my friends have H&R sports and the drop is nice. Then I heard one of them cut the spring. but they have 20s so the gap is so small.

Hi guys,

I have had eibach sportline springs fitted today, and it has only made a 10-15mm difference. Hardly Noticable!

I was quoted 35-45mm by the guy at the shop, he even phoned eibach to confirm this for me.

The guy at deamon tweeks has told me to give it a couple of days to see if it settles, if not he will give me a refund.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Will it settle or is it a case of what you see is what you get?

In another post on here i have seen a e60 on sportlines and it looked slammed

Any input would be appreciated

Thanks
The pro kit will drop a standard SE spec car by 45mm
& it will drop an M-Tech Sport model car by only 10mm.
The same springs are used by H&R for both models & as the M-Tech Sport is already lower than the standard SE suspention the drop is less.
The guy at the shop should have been told you this, but unfortunately now because he didn't, through no fault of your own you have acted on wrong information and are disappointed with the result.
I asked eibach the same question and here is the email response i got from them:

"Hello Jason,

Thank you for your inquiry and trust in the products of Eibach.

You can choose our normal Pro-Kit. Only thing is, that you have to deduct the lowering of M-Tech from our lowering.

So the car will additionally be lowered about 10-15 mm with our Pro-Kit. The comfort is the comparable to the M-Tech springs - almost the same spring characteristic.

Mit freundlichen Gr??en | Best regards

Axel Biggemann"

all the drops are based off of the non-sport e60s. for your 545 specifically, if it were a non-sport, H&R springs will drop the car 1.3" front and 1.2" rear. eibach pro-kit would drop it 1.2" all around. if it were a sport package, (which is about 0.7" lower than non-sport) the H&R sports would be about a 0.6" drop in front and 0.5" in the rear. if you just want springs and you want about 1" and have the sport package, get the H&R race springs, drops a non-sport 2" all around, would drop the sport package at about 1.3" all around. or like recommended by others, coilovers is also an option. hope this helps.

Thanks for the input guys,

But i dont have sports suspension, just regular. So it should have dropped it more than 10mm right?

It also gets worse, when i hit 60-70mph there is a vibration coming through the car, not a hard ride vibration, more like diiving over a cobbled street.

Has anyone else ever experienced this?

P.S. I will post pics as soon as i get a chance, other half just had a baby boy so rushing round like a mad man at the moment.

I went also from standard suspension to Eibach Pro Kit springs about a month ago
and the car did come down at least 3 centimeters, but I would say even more.
It lays now just right and is still comfy to ride.

It took about 3 weeks for the car the settle, but I did drive a lot on brick roads...

There might also be a difference between Eibach Sportline (?) and Eibach Pro Kit springs.

The code for Eibach Pro Kit springs for a 530d is E10-20-011-02-22.
Check this code from the bill.

(For a 520d it is E10-20-011-01-22. Because of the L4 engine the front axle mass is under 990 kg's.)
