Of course you CAN see it, but many people do not until it is pointed out to them. As for shine/luster on a light color, not to worry. I can't say for dark colors. I waxed the bra when it was first installed. I later treated it with RejeX.

Hi, realty. That early post was just a sleep interrupt. All caught up now.

That shot you took between the kidneys looks like no protection. Did you remove the strip of clear bra after the scar?

I have three tears in my bra now. I always approached the city-provided-plastic bin with reckless abandon to make sure I went is square - I have one of those Rudy-type garages wo much clearance. I always figured that a rub with a plastic trash bin was no big deal, right. Plastic on plastic, being no bid deal. But, it all depends on which side of the trash bin is toward the drive. One side has a metal (aluminum) pipe for lifting with an automatic truck lift. There is no cap on the end of that pipe and that has scarred my bra in the same spot -- three times. Can you say SLOW LEARNER? Paint's OK except for one minute peck.

Yeah, it actually looks better now that I removed the part where the chip occured.
I finally got the touch-up paint but have been too busy /lazy /drunk to do it. I did get a piece to replace the part that I removed but of course I need to fix the chip first.
BTW, did anyone know that there are 3 types of Alpine White (... yes Rudy, I'm sure that you knew ).
