2007 550i 6-spd----> Premium package, sport package, Logic7, heated everything, Rogue Engineering SSK, CDV removal, hardwire V1 install, aFe cold air intake, Custom Magnaflow exhaust....
I have 2 friends, both with dinan cold air intake on their 325ci coupes and it gives out a pleasant whining sound that sounds like a supercharger. I assume that's the sound you mean. Will a 545 with a V8 engine get the same sound as the V6?? Or will it be different.
I agree with jet190rs's view that most people get that for the sound since the power difference can hardly be felt
