My Ride: 2004 545i 6spd, blk on blk, HRE 540R 20x9 in front and 20x10 in rear with Pirelli PZero Neros 245/25/20 front and 295/25/20 rear. H&R springs, and Eisenmann quad exhaust, V! radar detector, black grille, limo tint all around.

Hi all, I just talked to a gruppe m representative and he told me that they'll have an intake kit for the 545i by the end of November. Anyone know about this kit coming out? I'm still waiting to find out from the guy how much it would cost for the kit.

I know, Gruppe M charges an arm and a leg for their intake kits. I wouldn't be surprised that their new kit will be even more expensive.

I'll post some more pics of my car soon. Need to go out and take some updated pics.

$1,500 for air induction kit is a bit overprice don't you think :'( I am trying to get an inquiry for a carbon air filter charger kit from CA Automotive, I think it is selling for around 300 pounds.

It's not on their website b/c they haven't released it yet. The rep I talked to at Gruppe M said it'll be put on the market in the end of Nov. However, judging by the price of the other intake kits that they have available. I doubt I'll buy such an expensive kit. I don't know why but it seems like there ain't much performance parts available for the 545i. :thumbsdown:

Gruppe M intakes are really expensive, and you don't gain much power, BUT aren't they supposed to sound REALLY REALLY good?

M3 and Ferrari owners install them for the sound, I believe...
