Well, let's get to the actual useful information. How did he measure you tint? Did he use a light meter? If so then you are probably screwed, if not you may have a chance to fight it (problem is you'll need a lawyer and it cost you more than $180 ticket, why do you think fines stay below what a lawyer costs?)
For a cheaper alternative, check with your tint shop. Some shops offer a service where they will remove the tint so you can take care of the ticket then replace it right afterward for little or no cost (happened to my wife in her old car)

the judge will reduce one to $50 i believe and make the other one like $5 and then of course the nyc/state surcharge maybe $150 all together at most, whatever you do dont plead guilty because if you plead not guilty go to your hearing and the officer isnt there they will dismiss it has happend to me before i pleade not guilty even on radar speeding tickets lol

Well what do you expect-why have that dark of tint in the first place? I dont know about nyc but the legal limit in arizona was more than plenty-if they do not allow any tint whatsover than clearly yours is obviously overtinted-you could have just put a bit of tint on, been happy and not get tickets.

I'd keep postponing the court date, if possible, that might increase the chance for the cop not to show up.

What % is your tint?
I think 35% is legal, at least here in TX. I have 20% on all my cars and never had a problem.

cop told me 80% of light needed to pass thorough windows. the meter read 20%.

thats gonna be my first attempt at beating it. if i have to show up i may just peel em off and hope the court lets me off. its olny 180 but i dont want to get pulled over every month and start dishing out unnecessary cash to the city, they have enough.
