Hello everyone!

I've been searching answer for this problem across many forums and countless google searches, but with little to none succession, so I decided to join this forum and ask directly.

So, I recently bought full electric leather seats w/memory from a RHD E60 530d (2004) for my LHD E60 530d (2003)

In my own car I have the standard semi-electric clothed seats with heating ( S488A Lumbar Support Driver And Passenger / S494A Seat Heating Driverpassenger)
and the ones that will replace these would be (S459A Seat Adjuster Electric With Memory & S481A Sports Seat)

We installed the new seats (RHD driver seat would be passenger's seat in my LHD) and connected these large yellow connectors (can't remember what they really call the connectors), but the switches on the new seats do not respond.

We can move the seats electrically from the software (can't remember that name either), so the seats are probably not faulty?

So the question really is, do we need to do some wiring and coding? I think we can handle the wiring by ourselves if it comes to that, but I would appreciate some (or complete) guidance on the coding process.

Have You checked e60-forum.de? There are a few guys there, who had done the retrofit AFAIR. You can post in English, no worries! You can use the Allgemein section for such a question. I would be curious to know if there is a difference between a RHD driver's seat and a LHD copilot seat in the same configuration!?
