Lomag, I second making this a sticky, but can we get a someone to dyno it and see the actual gains instead of the "feel." Or maybe we can setup a placebo and find out if dyno is not available.

My Ride: 2006 BMW 530i Alpine White, Sport Package, 6MT, Auburn interior
2007 Acura TSX, Black on Black, 6MT, OEM Body Kit
2000 Honda CBR929RR, Yellow, Pazzo Racing adjustable brake/clutch levers, Sato rear sets, full Micron Exhaust, double bubble windscreen.
I did the same thing. I stumbled to this web site last night and registered. i think this is my 4 post since last night. it's been a struggle for me to find a website for my 530i and noticed t members are mostly non US resident.
on with the mod. did this first thing in the morning and went out to get some medicine for my son. but before i did i went for a drive and made sure that the engine is at normal temperature before gunning the heck out of it. while waiting for it to reach normal temp i'm just driving in a spirited manner and notice a big difference in throttle response. the jerk/choke that i get was gone. before the mod i've stalled the car a few times and kept on jerking at take off. now, i've been driving a manual since day 1 i started driving and am a motorcycle rider(honda cbr 929rr). definitely i know how to mix the clutch and the throttle. i've also previously owned a 330i zhp before my 530i.
powerwise, not sure if there are gains. throttle response, definitely a thumbs up. car feels more driveable.
