Hey,
I rode in the back of my friend's '11 750Li with the Rear Luxury Seating package the other day and noticed that the headrests had wings like the front comfort seats on my M5.

Is it possible/doable to get these to fit on the E60's rear seats?
Or maybe the older style E66 headrests would fit better?

No idea if it matters but my rear seats are neither heated nor folding.
Thanks.

hey
Yes , it can be done , but the roudbars holding the headrest must be altered to fit the brackets in the rearseat.
Please see , mounted in a 12/2003 E60 :

Are the bars holding the headrest too thin or too fat for the brackets?
Any p/ns for easier ordering and how much did this cost you?
Also- any pictures of your rear seat entertainment setup? Been thinking of getting a rear screen hooked up to the factory DVD player fitted but not sure how exactly to get it done.
Thanks!

Hi
The roundbars of the Comfort headrest's are 2.0mm thicker in Dia. than the std. headrest's
Price of the Comfort headrest's are different from dealer to dealer ( don't know whey it is so
) , I payed aprox. 250 USD a pic. ( 500 USD for 2 ).
The altering of the roundbars I did do myself
Regarding the A/V , in the rearseat , it is a non OEM BMW 8" electrical "flip down" LCD screen ( 100 USD on E-bay , cheep
) + an aftermarkedt DVD player also about 100-150 USD + a sets of cordless headphones , 80 USD.
NB : The "purple lights" at the LCD monitor is only visible throug the camera not for the eye
Regards

Did you file off the excess thickness of the round bars or did you replace the bars?
