Hey guys I have a 530i RPI exhaust and was wondering if there was any possible way an exhaust shop can make it fit my 550i? Is the piping the ONLY reason why it wont find and is the only difference between a 530i exhaust and a 550i exhaust. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks

Anything is possible for the right amount. Seriously speaking, I don't see why a custom exhaust shop couldn't make it work?

I'm pretty sure the shop can pipe you and make it fit.

+1 with everyone here the only thing you would "lose" are the gains because your going to have to cut out all the pipes to do a custom fit and be left with the muffler and custom pipes. and it will be louder lol

Awesome, so it sounds like its not really worth it..should I should sell my rpi exhaust and get a new one on the forums? Im just trying to cut costs and if the custom exhaust is not worth the cutting and piping, then i would rather save the headache and just buy it from Trinity

Have you contacted RPI? Maybe they can point you in the right direction, just a thought

I mean you can just buy an RPI system for the 550i or use that one and just custom pipe it, a good shop should cost more than 500 to do the work at least in NYC most of us go to american muffler in long island, get little shop even though they overcharged me lol my friend went and did the same job for 150 less
