Ok, after reading post after post and watching video after video in regards to adding some rumble to my '08 550 sport I finally settled on the RPI GT axle back exhaust. Believe me, I went back-and-forth between doing a quad system or not a million times but in the end chose the tried and true RPI. This is not to say that other systems out there didn't sound vicious as well but for me, the RPI had the sound I was looking for(Big thanks again to WEEZEY at TRINITY). My question is: should I simply have it installed and leave the rest of the system alone? Are there any resonators, silencers, etc. that can be removed to add horsepower or will the lack of back pressure hurt me in the end. It seems as if these RPI systems are just installed and that's it. Thanks and I can't wait for it to arrive. Oh, and I already have the RPI scoop so it only made sense to go RPI.

thanks again ![Smile](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/smile.gif)
Id suggest putting the exhaust on as is, and see how you like it. there have been others who have decided to take off the resonator, but keep in mind that the exhaust has been tested with the resonator on and the exhaust put on as is.
